Amanda Steiner is an interior designer based in Lugano, Switzerland offering boutique services to discerning clients near and far. Her focus is on creating residential interiors that are warm, inviting, and authentically tailored to each space.
With a firm belief that homes can be both stylish and comfortable, she aims to create interiors that elevate everyday living and resonate with the aspirations of the homeowners. Careful consideration of each home’s architecture, and every client’s specific needs and tastes inform her thoughtful design decisions. Amanda gravitates towards a classic-meets-modern aesthetic, with an affinity for utilizing time-honored materials and cozy elements that blend the past with the present.
Her design career began working in sales management and creative direction in the home furnishings industry, and in 2015 she established her own business, serving clients in Portland, Oregon and beyond. In 2019, she co-founded Jack’s Daughters with her sister, a line of home goods specializing in fine fragrance products and artisan made ceramics. She currently resides in beautiful southern Switzerland, where she continues to offer design services to both US-based clientele and local residents of Ticino.
